Gospel Systems began in 2014 as a para church 501(c)3 organization to provide oversight to growing delivery systems for the advancement of the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.
Gospel Systems has its roots in the organic growth of two gospel delivery systems - The PLNTD Network and The Haiti Collective. The PLNTD Network began its work in the summer of 2009 to help churches flourish in taking greater ownership of the Great Commission. The following year, a devastating earthquake in Haiti destroyed much of the capital city and killed an estimated 200,000 people. Through God's sovereign providence, Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral, FL connected with a Haitian pastor who had come to the US for reprieve. He invited them to come and see the great need for gospel work in Haiti. After small but significant steps of involvement in Haiti, The Haiti Collective was birthed as an organic partnership of like minded evangelical churches who shared a common vision for gospel work in Haiti.
The Haiti Collective experienced significant growth and it was evident that the work needed greater organizational infrastructure and governing oversight. As a result, Gospel Systems was formed in March 2014.
In 2016, again through God's providence, Gospel Systems formed relationships with two pastors from India who had come to the US to attend seminary with the intent to return as church planters. In 2019 Gospel Systems formed South Asia Collective to replicate the partnership and ministry model of The Haiti Collective in the region of South Asia.
