Gospel Systems is a nonprofit organization that exists to connect like minded evangelical churches who have a desire to advance the gospel in difficult places through partnerships with faithful indigenous missionaries who understand the language and cultural barriers to the gospel in their country and region.
Our mission is to bring genuine, lasting transformation to individuals and communities through the life-changing power of the gospel. Living out the implications of our identity in Christ and applying the gospel to every sphere of life, our goal is to see the invisible kingdom of God made visible through local churches as God makes all things new.
Church partnerships are the heart and soul of Gospel Systems.
All of our work, whether it is leadership development, discipleship, orphan care, education, medical care, or community empowerment is done through the church. We believe the local churches provide the best vehicle to deliver lasting change and transformation to individuals and communities, and because of the church’s submission to Christ as Lord, we believe the best stewardship of effort, time, and resources are administered through the local church.
We believe strongly in indigenous leadership.
Indigenous missionaries, church pastors and field coordinators give primary direction and understanding to the work taking place day in and day out, week in and week out, year after year. We are careful not to import our cultural norms into our work in cross-cultural missions. The national leaders know the language and culture of their home country, allowing them to avoid the pitfalls and faux paus common for foreigners. Our goal is to leverage our gifts, resources, money, and trips to equip and empower indigenous leaders through service, training and encouragement.
Delivery systems, or programs, are the contextual expression of the mission of Gospel Systems. These programs may take different expression depending on the context (country, conditions, and other considerations). Each delivery system serves the mission of the church as laid out by Jesus Christ. This mission is to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). We currently have two international delivery systems—The Haiti Collective and South Asia Collective.
